Eastwick College approved to teach BSN!
Are you looking to advance in your nursing career, thus ensuring job security, increased career options, potentially higher earnings, and the ability to work at the top Magnet Hospitals in the area (which require their nurses to have bachelor’s degrees)? Professional nursing education is grounded in science, mathematics, and the humanities. Your courses will focus on these subjects, which are the foundation for any nursing practice.
Throughout the program, you will use critical thinking and data analysis skills to provide client and family-centered outcome-based care for individuals with complex healthcare needs across the lifespan and health-illness continuum. Eastwick College Ramsey offers LPNs and RNs a fast track to seamlessly advance their education and earn a Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) through the new “LPN-to-BSN Bridge Program”. Upon completion of the program, LPNs will be eligible to take the RN-NCLEX examination to be licensed as registered nurses. Current licensed Registered Nurses (RNs) will have a shortened and direct pathway to obtain their BSN.
Eastwick College also offers Bilingual Licensed Practical Nursing.
There is a growing need for bilingual nurses to help ensure that non-English speaking patients are receiving accurate medical care. Our Bilingual Licensed Practical Nursing Program (BLPN) prepares ESL-level students to meet this growing demand, preparing them to enter the field as LPNs. Now is a great time to get started. The BLPN program includes ESL in addition to the curriculum and training necessary for graduates to take the NCLEX-PN licensing exam, where students learn English medical terminology they will need to communicate with medical personnel and patients.
